Martine is passionate about supporting people to improve self-esteem, self-confidence, and a sense of optimism about their future. She assists people to explore how their personal systems may be improved to help them achieve their desired outcomes.
Martine offers therapeutic support that combines a range of evidence-based strategies with an individualised approach, which is tailored according to the unique needs and circumstances of individuals and families.
Martine provides support in relation to a broad range of personal difficulties. Her primary areas of support are in the following areas:

· Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment (adults)
In the area of therapy, Martine assists people to:
· Recognise their strengths
· Improve their self-esteem
· Learn new strategies to assist them to problem-solve and improve personal effectiveness in their desired areas of life
In the area of assessment, Martine supports people in the following ways:
· Supporting adults to determine whether there is a diagnostic basis to their lifelong difficulties
· Support parents to explore whether their children’s difficulties may have a diagnostic basis
Martine has worked as a Psychologist in private practice in Tasmania over the last 14 years. Previously, she has worked as a school psychologist within the Launceston community, where she has developed sound insights related to supporting children socially and emotionally within the education system.
In addition, she has worked in Brisbane in the areas of private practise, and child protection, as well as the juvenile justice system. She has also worked in the United Kingdom within the adult justice system and the community youth work sector.
Outside of work, Martine enjoys being with her family, spending time in nature, and engaging in regular physical activity.
